XTERRA Great Ocean Road is returning to Anglesea shores on Sunday, March 30, 2014.

The headline event will again be the XTERRA Triathlon, which will see fierce pro competitors fight it out for a share in a $15,000 cash prize pool, and the rest of the field fight it out for one of 15 available qualification spots for the XTERRA World Championships in Hawaii. The XTERRA Sprint Tri, a shortened version of the XTERRA Triathlon, will also be held and provide an opportunity for those looking to get stuck into the exciting world of off-road triathlon. Both events are the perfect training for the XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championships in Jervis Bay, New South Wales, in April 2014.

Along with the return of the challenging 21km and 10km trail run courses, we are also calling all walkers who wish to take in the scenery and tackle the 10km course at a leisurely pace. No more standing around waiting for a friend or family member to cross the finish line, this year there’s something for everyone.
