Any child with an infectious disease may not attend the centre until fully recovered. Details of confinement requirements for some infections are listed below. A more detailed list is on display in the centre.

The parent of any child who contracts an infectious disease (chicken pox, measles etc) is requested to notify the staff to ensure all parents are informed. If a child is not immunized, it is the policy of the centre that the child be excluded from attendance when an outbreak of an infectious disease occurs.
Infectious Diseases Exclusion Table.
Chicken Pox Until fully recovered and at least five days after eruptions appear
Conjunctivitis Until discharge from eyes has ceased
Head Lice Until day after treatment commenced
Glandular No exclusion necessary
Impetigo Until treated, all sores must be covered
Measles For at least 4 days from appearance of rash
Poliomyelitis Until at least 14 days from onset, must produce medical certificate
Ringworm Until day after treatment commenced
Rubella Until fully recovered and at least 4 days after onset of rash
Whooping For 5 days after starting antibiotic treatment
Mumps Until fully recovered
